delicious

it is when i live away from california that i miss them the most. today it was just an avocado, all by itself with a light dash of black pepper. i remember reading somewhere that it was the perfect food source. that if you had to live off of one food for the rest of your life the avocado would be the one to choose. on the days that i would like to dig a nice hole and hide in it, i think i would like to bring a stash of avocados with me; that, and a playlist full of music.

365 loves: avocados

yummy... and making guacamole! tomato, salsa (with cilantro), cheese, lemon juice, garlic... and homemade tortilla chips.

If you leave the pit in then helps it from turning brown!

you really don't want to know what Avocado means though.... yeah??? Testicle and was used as sexual stimulant and not consumed by anyone who wanted to stay chaste. ....which growers had to debunk and a lot of marketing was done about it when coming to California. Yeah them Aztecs....

How do I know this... Grandpa Kelly had a farm in Fallbrook when I was little. Avocado groves!!! And because of my stupid nature shows.

A whole medium avocado contains approximately 35 grams of fat, though most of it is monounsaturated fat. Avocados also have 60% more potassium than bananas. They are rich in B vitamins, as well as vitamin E and vitamin K.[9]. They have the highest fiber content of any fruit - including 75% insoluble and 25% soluble fiber.

You sexual dynamo you~

you know my mother's love of B movies. She brought The Pit home and well that's like a zz movie. All about tra-la-logs that live in a pit. CHildren go around luring people to the pit and shove them in so the tra-la-logs can eat. This is the beginning, the plot and the ending. At the end something happensand the children roll a tree log into the pit, inferring they are unleasded into the world. Tra-la-logs.... the pit.

She actually wouldn't let us turn it off trying to see if there was any redeeming Quality.,,which is of course the name Tra-la-logs.

i love avocados :), but i'm enough of an amateur i'm bad at telling when they will be ripe.

in italian, lawyer and avocado are homonyms. two things i would never have freely associated.

the pit is described as a film about a boy with autism who finds something in the forest. i do not remember anything about that, but i do remember the pit and a log being thrown in, and watching it with your mom. i wonder if i had been there during a viewing.
